Fall 2011
Many positive reviews of Cavalli’s Giasone with Opera Omnia at Le Poisson Rouge:
Later in the season, Katharine will make her mainstage Carnegie Hall debut in Handel’s Messiah, cover the role of Zina in Nico Muhly’s highly-anticipated American opera debut with Gotham Chamber Opera (and the Opera Company of Philadelphia in the spring), rejoin the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra for a Mozart Requiem, and sing several recital tours under the auspices of the Piatigorsky Foundation.
Spring 2011
Katharine has been accepted as a Stern Fellow to Songfest at Pepperdine University in June, where she will work with composers John Musto, Jake Heggie, Libby Larsen, and Mohammed Fairouz; pianists/coaches Margo Garrett, Graham Johnson, Martin Katz, Roger Vignoles, and Rosemary Hyler Ritter; and singers Amy Burton, Kendra Colton, and Lisa Saffer.

Fall 2010
Katharine has returned to New York after a busy summer as a Young Artist at Ash Lawn Opera in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she covered Donna Elvira and sang in numerous other performances. The 2010-11 season will be an exciting one: three performances in Carnegie Hall (including her Stern Auditorium debut in Handel’s Messiah with the Masterwork Chorus in December 2011), covering a role in a new work by Nico Muhly for Gotham Chamber Opera, premieres by numerous composers, performances with chamber groups Momenta and Lunatics at Large, and recital appearances with pianist Renate Rohlfing.
Summer 2010
Katharine will record the complete Polish songs of Frederick Chopin with pianist Dina Pruzhansky under the auspices of The Chopin Project. More details to follow.

Katharine has just returned to New York after a busy summer 2009, including performances at the Staunton and Mt. Gretna festivals and a residency as a Steans Institute Young Artist at the prestigious Ravinia Festival near Chicago, where she sang in masterclasses with Matthias Goerne and Christoph Eschenbach and coached with Malcolm Martineau, Roger Vignoles, and Brian Zeger, among others. She is now preparing for the upcoming season, which includes recitals at Bargemusic and the White Mountain Music Festival, several Messiahs, her first Carmina Burana (with the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra), and various other projects.
